A stroke of simple brilliance hit me today in the kitchen. We had just returned from a beautiful long walk in the woods and were scrounging around for a good snack…. something with lots of flavor and some girth, beyond just a bit of raw cheese on biscuits. Without giving it much thought I pulled out some pretty standard tasty condiments and whipped up a little something. Much to my surprise it passed the taste test with flying colors.
Give it a whirl. Spread it on raw flax crackers, cucumber or carrot slices, or try using it as a dip with some blue corn chips. Yum!
All you need –
1 big spoonful of pure sesame tahini
Splash of lemon juice
Dash of hot sauce (I like Cholula best)
A few tsp size squirts of Bragg’s
And a bit of herb salt, if salty is how you roll.
Smash the avocado as if you were making guacamole, then add the rest of the ingredients and mix it well!
Blessings for a beautiful, healthy and happy Sunday carrying you through to a new week!
