Hey Colorado Yogis!
You Are Invited To The Colorado Kundalini Yoga Conference of 2013.
In Colorado, the community of teachers and practitioners of Kundalini Yoga As Taught By Yogi Bhajan is growing and expanding. I’m really excited to be a part of this community. Along with my fellow Kundalini Yoga teachers, I want to invite you to join us as we gather together to practice yoga and celebrate the joyfulness of a spiritually oriented, yogic life. Kundalini Yoga is a practice for everyone. Combining meditation, mantra, physical exercises and breathing techniques, Kundalini Yoga offers the practitioner an experience of pure self-awareness and bliss.
On Saturday February 23rd, Kundalini Yoga Denver will be hosting a special event open to Kundalini Yoga teachers, students and all people interested in the practice. This will be the 13th annual Colorado Kundalini Yoga Conference. Started by Sue Beck (Kartha Purkh) of Crestone, CO, this gathering has grown from a potluck-style evening to a larger event bringing in senior teachers such as Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa and Mata Mandir Singh to lead our community in the practice of Kundalini Yoga.
At this event we will gather together as a community to share the yoga practice we love, make new friends, support each other and join together in song with the help of the awesome Adi Shakti Kirtan band from Boulder.
We invite you to come experience Kundalini Yoga for the first time or for the thousandth time. We will practice a yoga kriya and a meditation, chant mantras, dance and sing together to live devotional music. Come get to know your fellow teachers and yoga practitioners over a cup of yogi tea and a few cookies!
All people are invited to the Conference. This event is free but donations will be gratefully accepted.
The Colorado Kundalini Yoga Conference will be hosted this year at the new home of Kundalini Yoga Denver at 2945 Julian Street in the North Highlands Community Center. This event will begin at 6pm on Saturday and will conclude at 9pm.
Kundalini Yoga Denver is comprised of a devoted group of local teacher offering the community all donation-based Kundalini Yoga classes. Kundalini Yoga Denver is officially launching with the Conference and will be offering regular classes beginning on February 25th.
The goal of the Conference and of Kundalini Yoga Denver itself is to provide the Colorado and metro-area community a chance to experience the profound and elevating practice of Kundalini Yoga in a supportive environment with a dedication to maintaining the purity and tradition of the practice.
